Started as a freelancer.
Grew into a studio.

WebXelo was born out of frustration with slow, generic websites that fail to explain a business or generate results. After 5+ years shipping WordPress, React, and custom builds for agencies, startups, and international brands, it was time to build something better.

Today we're a tight-knit team of developers and strategists who care more about your conversion rate than your approval. Every project is a partnership, every decision ties back to growth.

The journey

How we got here

Five years of learning, building, and iterating — until the studio became what it is today.

2019–2020

First client, first lesson

Freelancing on Upwork and local referrals while working full-time at Xgrid. Our first major client build taught us what many developers miss — performance and clarity matter as much as visual polish.

2021

Going full-stack with React

Expanded beyond WordPress into React and Next.js as client needs grew. Built our first headless web application. Learned to think in systems, not pages.

2022

Brickify — our first internal tool

Built Brickify to auto-convert HTML to Bricks Builder JSON. What started as a personal time-saver became a tool that cut project production time by 60%. It proved what we always believed: good tooling multiplies good developers.

2023

The studio takes shape

Formalized the team, added a dedicated QA and strategy layer, and rebranded from solo freelancer to studio. Shipped 20+ projects in 12 months across Australia, the US, and the UAE.

2024–Now

WebXelo — officially launched

Focused the agency on high-performance websites and conversion-focused digital experiences. Launched our studio brand, onboarded long-term retainer clients, and opened a dedicated intake for new brands ready to grow.
